About 716 Boats

We're Ryan & Jennifer Flore. We've grown up in WNY with all of its quirks and benefits. We married in 2019, had our first kid in 2021, and have not only survived working together but raising a kid together and, oh yeah, running a couple of businesses.

We love the outdoors. We visit national parks. We're card-carrying members of the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens, AKG Art Museum, Niagara Aquarium, and Buffalo Zoo. The Sabres & Bills break our hearts (well, Ryan's anyway) and the great food and craft wine and beer around here heals them. We've also seen the renaissance and growth in and around Buffalo and decided we wanted to be a part of it.

In 2021 we opened Carefree Boat Club of Buffalo. It's a members-only boat club where we take care of the boats & members so that all they need to worry about is having fun on the water. Show up. Take the Keys. Go.

What we have learned since is that we love the marine industry and the lifestyle being on and near the water. Although we love the club and feel it's a great option for many, there's still plenty of demand in our region for boat ownership. We placed custom orders again and again for club boats. Designing each aspect and picking colors, narrowing down options and debating how much horsepower we could get away with, debating the merits of color-matched canvas or gold package sound systems... all of these things and more were (and continue to be) a terrific experience each and every time. So why couldn't everyone do this?

With that in mind we set out to open our boutique boat dealer with a local focus: 716 Boats. Your Boat, Your Way. We want each customer to get the opportunity to custom build their own vessel in a one-on-one setting with us in order to have a memorable and valuable experience. We've partnered with premier, quality focused brand names to accomplish this. Our in stock models are examples of our favorites but we're ready to make Your Boat, Your Way.
